SC -Springs Industries, Inc., REACHED an agreement with. C.S. Brooks World Carpets, Inc, to sell Springs Decorative Floor, Inc., its area and accent rugs business, to CSB World. Brook Johnson, founder and chief executive officer of CSB World Carpets, is a veteran of the home furnishings and carpet industries. As part of the agreement, CSB World receives a license to use the Springmaid, Wamsutta and Regal brand names for marketing purposes. The purchase includes manufacturing and related assets in Dalton, GA., and Stratford, Ontario, Canada. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
